		Unique memories can inspire the process of designing your home. This ultimate master bath spa was inspired by a client’s memory of the ubiquitous hexagonal floor tiles reminiscent of his childhood home in the Midwest. We understand the importance of how such a small detail ingrained into a person’s memory can conjure great joy, and recreated it for them to enjoy again during the solitude of a relaxing soak. A vista of oak treetops extends one out through the large window providing a feeling of expanse within the room. The symmetric and uncluttered look of this space offers a Zen-like quiet, more spa than bathroom, to cleanse and reflect. Dark wood bathing accessories and moss green linens distinguish this room from the typical, while integrating perfectly within the architecture. All fixtures shown are from Waterworks, with an oversized tub set into a marble surround. Above, a wall niche holds an antique Asian cabinet as a contemporary altar. The wash area (not shown) is comprised of a fir vanity with dual beveled mirrors giving an airy feeling when moving between master bedroom and the secluded bath.
