A floating dining experience silhouetted by custom french doors provides an opportunity for a unique space.

Most spaces in a home are easily identifiable, be it a dining area, living room, kitchen or even a breakfast nook. Sometimes these main spaces, are other architecturally provided opportunities, to create an area in a unique location. Sometimes a space in an existing plan is simply unidentifiable, with no obvious use based on the pre-existing layout. This offers a great chance to provide a unique area with an unexpected purpose. In this house by placing the dining table at the junction of the french doors it acts as the connector or knuckle of home.
